Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra
Babu Naidu has started his two day tour to Nellore district where he
visits the flood affected regions and the victims. He also got the
report from officials regarding the losses incurred. The untimely rains
has also lashed out the crops and farmers are in distress situation.
After
this Chandra Babu Naidu paid visit to the Somasila Dam Project. He had a
formal inspection at the project and stated that all the barrage works
will be completed soon by Government.
After
completing the formalities, the Chief Minister addressed the media and
said that haphazard construction projects have been carried out during
Congress regime. He also assured that farmers who faced losses during
this rains will be given immediate compensation.
He
also said for those who have lost homes, the necessary arrangements are
being made to provide shelter. As per reports, the works of providing
the relief measures are going in full swing. Chandra Babu Naidu also
confessed that the Somasila Dam Project will also be completed soon.
