Officials from Capital Region
Development Authority (CRDA) in Amaravati are issuing threats and
warnings to people living in villages which fall under CRDA
jurisdiction. They have threatened that their buildings will be
demolished. As per the CRDA norms, the officials are taking strict
actions.
Right now they have issued a
threat to villagers that they will demolish their buildings. However,
Villagers got angry and they are saying that these CRDA officials are
ignoring ilelgal buildings which are constructed by Chief Minister
N.Chandra Babu Naidu's son Lokesh and his benami in Krishna River bed.
They
said if they are really sincere, they should start by demolishing the
Krishna River bed. YSRCP Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy also
said that Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu himself was having a guest
house which is illegaly built on Krishna River bed.
He
has spent crores of public money on constructing that. Reddy further
said, "I hope CRDA officials are not blind. They need to demolish
illegal buildings in the river bed first. Then let them harass the
innocent villagers."
