Hyderabad
is popular as one of the twin cities along with Secunderabad and its
importance increased across the world with the development of IT and
advent of Cyberabad. Now the city is the common capital of Telangana and
Andhra Pradesh states.
According to the latest it is coming out that Hyderabad city will become unrecognisable if Telangana CM KCR and his government have its say.Sources say Hyderabad will become smaller with the city expected to be broken into three districts.
T.Padma
Rao, miniser for excise and Secunderabad MLA informed “There is a
proposal to split Greater Hyderabad into four revenue districts as it
covers a vast area and also 24 Assembly constituencies. Secunderabad
will definitely be one among the new districts,“
Advocate,
Naguluri Krishna Kumar Goud says dividing Hyderabad into smaller
districts will help in development of all areas. He added “Secunderabad
was a separate municipal corporation till mid 1960s. It was merged with
Hyderabad Corporation and the Municipal Corporation of Hyderabad was
formed. Development has come to a standstill and the areas lost their
glory after the shifting of the airport to Shamshabad. The government is
also not giving any priority to Secunderabad, compared what it gives to
Hyderabad across the Tank Bund,"
