India and
Pakistan fought two wars over Jammu and Kashmir and later Pakistan which
suffered heavy losses started sending mercenaries and terrorists to
bleed India with hundred cuts following the policy of Jinnah.
This
left many development activities in Jammu and Kashmir getting derailed
and India always living under terror threat. Even Pakistan is not having
peace as its rulers instead of developing the country are concentrating
only on troubling India for Kashmir.
This
affects the peace and tranquility in the Asian subcontinent and World
leaders often advocated peaceful solution to the burning Jammu and
Kashmir problem through dialogue between two nations.
But
with Paistan sponsoring terrorists, India blows hot and cold on peace
talks. Now former Union Minister and Jammu and Kashmir's former CM
Farooq Abdullah came with a permanent solution to the problem.
He
said the then PM Atal Behari Vajpayee suggested to Pakistan that since
Pakistan was arguing that it holds rights over PAK occupied Kashmir, it
shouldn't trouble India on Jammu and Kashmir and accept for the line of
control between Jammu and Kashmir and POK.
At
that time PAK government rejected the proposal. Farooq claims that now
PAk PM Nawaz Shariff is agreeing for the same formula and so PM Modi
should take the lead and solve the Kashmir problem permanently. It has
to be seen how PM Modi and people of the country will react to it.
