The arrest of ex
Congress MP Siricilla Rajaiah in relation to the suspicious death of his
daughter-in-law along with three of her children, is now being seen as a
blessing in disguise for the Bharatiya Janatha Party and Telugu Desam Party
alliance as part of the by-elections to Warangal Lok Sabha seat.
There are reports that the Congress party which had better prospects of coming in second place with decent votes or even winning the Warangal seat has reportedly lost its credibility fully following the Rajaiah episode.
The Warangal voters are questioning the Congress high command over how it has given the party ticket to Rajaiah by not paying attention to the repeated requests which was made by his daughter-in-law Sarika.
The voters are now reportedly looking towards the BJP candidate, a non-controversial and educated doctor. Even though the TRS has fair chances in this elections, the TDP-BJP combine is banking now on splitting of Congress vote bank which would tilt the scales towards the BJP candidate.
