Telangana State Government is
introducing two new health schemes. They are Free medical check up and
Free drugs. The two new schemes will be funded under the National Health
Mission.
Dr.Y.Lalitha Kumari who is
director of Health in state of Telangana said, "This new scheme will be
implemented soon on the ground. The two new schemes will not just reduce
the expenditure of patients, but it also helps them for a quality
living." She also said that the committee members will take the final
decision.
For the record, the two new
schemes are expected to cover patients in 734 primary health centres
(PHCs), 117 community health centres (CHCs) and 7 district hospitals in
Telangana eventually. This is indeed a new welcome note from state of
Telangana.
And regarding all these
medical tests, they wull be done by third party with no supervision. The
free drugs will be provided in all Government hospitals. The medical
tests will be carried out in Government funded laboratories.
