The long wait finally ends. NASA has
unveiled the clearest images of the surface of Pluto. The images are
Black and white, but these images are the close ups of Pluto. NASA's New
Horizons spacecraft took all these images and it showed some craters,
mountains and glacial terrain along a strip of 85 kms wide.

should be noted that the space craft reached Pluto by July. The planet
is at a distance of 4.6 billion miles to 2.6 billion miles. This is the
most recent batch sent by NASA. NASA tweeted,
Regarding this John Grunsfeld who is a former astronaut said, "The
new horizons thrilled us with some close up pictures of Pluto. The
spacecraft transmits the treasure trove of images in its on board memory
back to us.
We are still amazed to see all these." Now John is working as associate administrator for NASA's Science Mission Directorate.
