Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandra
Babu Naidu has once again created history and they thoroughly deserve
to be complimented for it. For past few days he has been trapped in
problems for some unwanted reasons. Now his regime has resulted in the
first exchange of fire between the police and Naxalites in Araku since
1997.
Already there were lots of
Naxalites trouble in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Few weeks back we
reported that there has been a shoot out between Naxalites and
Militants. Now due to the decision against Bauxite mining has caused
more impact against Naxalites.
The
Bauxite mining is going to affect lots of tribals as we said and Naidu
has temporarily stationed it. Recently Jagan Mohan Reddy asked to remove
the GO completely as that would give the much needed relief. But Babu
never did it. Bauxite mining will result in profits of millions of
dollars for multinationals and at the same time political parties can
loot more money.
So this is a money
minting project and Naidu is keen not to miss it. But at the same time
it will cause more damage to eco-system. Now due to this decision it
seems there will be a serious resurgence of Naxalism in AP.
