Srinagar gets the 'Coldest' Winter
Srinagar City is facing one of the worst climates in whole nation. The Meteorological department official confirmed that the city has recorded a low of minus 13.8 degrees Celsius last night. The whole city is right now freezing. Whole city is flooded with snow. 

A senior official said, "The minimum temperature recorded in Srinagar was minus 3.7 degrees Celsius, a drop of 3.4 degrees Celsius compared to the previous night. The temperature will get worse as days pass by. This is the coldest temperature recorded in Srinagar for past 20 years." 



The inmates are also suffering as even roads are blocked due to snow storm. Kargil also has a fall in temperature. The temperature read at -14.2 degrees last night. The temperatures are dropping everywhere. A famous ski resort in Gulmarg also recorded temperature of -8.8 degree Celsius. 

Other places like Qazigund and Kokernag were seen with temperatures of -3.3 degrees and -2.8 degrees.  The weather will continue to remain the same for next few days.
