Telangana Government is making all
necessary plans to push the IT sector to new boundaries. IT sector is
one of those booming fields where people get more job opportunities each
day. Lakhs of people are being appointed in this sector. Telangana IT
department recently is in talks with leading MNC's and they urge them to
set up centers.
Regarding this
Telangana IT secretary Jayesh Ranjan said, "Whenever we talk of IT in
Tier-II centres, we give the example of Mysore, which has become a noted
IT hub due to the presence of Infosys. We are right now having some
discussion with Infosys and we welcome their presence in Warangal.
We
have been in touch with them for last four months, but so far nothing
have been decided on a concrete note." At the same time, Infosys never
made any comments on their talks with Telangana Government. Infosys is
also going to inaugurate their largest campus at Pocharam in Hyderabad
with a capacity of 25,000 seats.
K.T.RamaRao
said, "Infosys MD and CEO Vishal Sikka has invited us to inaugurate
their largest campus at Pocharam in February. We would request Telangana
chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao to unveil the IT policy."
