Three people carrying liquor were caught at Mumbai Airport
Anything is possible in India. Need to carry goods illegal ? Need to smuggle gold ? Need to carry away ? Anything is possible. But recently the screws were tightened and during a serious security breach, three people flying on Delhi - Mumbai flight were caught at Mumbai Airport.

A passenger said, "Three guys were carrying liquor and we complained to the cabin crew. Then they informed the pilot and they told the matter to CISF. Police immediately apprehended the persons who were carrying the liquor." Another official said that the three people were let off with a fair warning and a minor fine amount.

The Airline was said to be 'GoAir'. The spokesman regarding the GoAir Airlines said that they took an apology letter from all three of them for drinking on board. According to aviation security rules globally, liquor bottles cannot be carried on board aircraft.

International passengers alone can carry two litres of liquor from duty free shops and they must also get prior permission. A security official said, "These passengers bought bottles on international journey. The checking was not possible at domestic terminal."
