The usage of technology is rising each
day. With mobile phone on everyone's hands, these days paying bills,
connecting everyone has became so easier. Now election commission has
decided to use an app for the upcoming GHMC elections.
The
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) commissioner B.Janardhan
Reddy has asked all the voters to check their names and download voter
slips through an app. This app is created exclusively for this purpose.
While
speaking at press conference the election commissioner said, "74,23,980
voters have enrolled so far and this includes 39,69,007 male voters,
34,53,910 female voters and 1,063 other voters. The voters can download
their voter slips through a special app created by GHMC for the
convenience of the people.
Just go to
play-store and type TSEC voter slip to download the app. They have to
then type their voter ID which will enable them to get the ward name,
polling station centre, voter serial number and other related
information. So far 125,000 people have downloaded this app."
