The ban on Jallikattu was lifted
recently and Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha thanked Indian Prime Minister
Narendra Modi for paving way to conduct Jallikattu in Tamil Nadu during
Pongal festival. But immediately after the release of ban, Supreme court
cancelled the ban and once again it imposed temporary ban.
This
caused huge shock. And right now lots of people in centre are raising
their voice for Jallikattu. If TamilNadu's 'Jallikattu' can get so much
attention, why cannot Andhra's Cock-fights cannot get more attention ?
It
is also a traditional affair in the state. Is centre clearly ignoring
Andhra Pradesh ? A political analyst said, "In Tamil Nadu, all
politicians raised their voice united for Jallikattu and that has
reached centre. But here none of them care about cock-fights.
This
is why centre is showing partiality among the states. Jayalalaitha is
not part of the NDA but she is getting a far better response from Naidu
than Chandrababu Naidu. Modi clearly has more respect towards Tamil Nadu
Chief Minister Jayalalitha than Chandrababu Naidu."
