The time may be coming soon for the
formal elevation of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s son and its national
secretary, Nara Lokesh. Babu has ensured that none from Nandamuri family
claims TDP’s legacy and has been grooming his own son.
These
days Babu has taken a break from his activities in Telangana due to a
combination of fear from note for vote case and also bonhomie with KCR
after a long time. But at the same T-TDP leaders who are unable to see
Babu’s silence on TRS are having hopes on Lokesh now.
In
this regard, Lokesh’s recent tirade against TRS at the GHMC election
meeting in Hyderabad was met with delight by the region’s leaders. They
have now made an interesting proposal to their boss and AP CM
Chandrababu Naidu.
According to this,
since there are few rumours that Lokesh may be sent to Rajya Sabha soon,
to be made a Union Minister, T-TDP wants him to be announced as a
minister under Telangana quota so that TDP will have a Union Minister
representing Telangana and this can give the local cadre a boost!
