Uber Technologies Inc. is an American
international transportation network company headquartered in San
Francisco, California. The service was expanded in 58 Countries and
across 300 cities.
Now they are going to
provide Helicopter services. The service will be first tested at the
Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. This will start on 21st of
January. Regarding this Airbus chief executive Tom Enders said,
"European
aerospace giant Airbus will cooperate with U.S. ride-hailing service
Uber Technologies to provide on-demand flights with its H125 and H130
helicopters. The service will have test during the Sundance Film
Festival in Park City, Utah. We aim to provide helicopters for a wider
audience."
Uber has already earned a
good name even in India. Recently when Chennai was flooded, Uber offered
free boat service to people of Chennai for rescue operations. They are
also having taxi services. So if this Helicopter service gets a good
success in USA, definitely the next step will be bringing the Chopper
services to South India.
