In around five days time, the residents
 of Hyderabad, Secunderabad as well as Greater Hyderabad peripheral 
circles would actually start receiving the much awaited water from river
 Godavari The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board 
(HMWS&SB) has reportedly completed over 90 per cent of the works.

This
 includes laying of pipelines and constructing of service reservoirs as 
well as other works. The officials are reportedly working day and night 
on the site for supplying water, that comes 15 days ahead of this 
schedule which was on December 15.
Initially
 the water board will be supplying a partial 85 mgd quantity of water to
 some of the areas in the city and four GHMC peripheral circles namely 
Qutubullapur, Kukatpally , Alwal and also Patancheru.
Water
 board is expected to stop drawing any more water from Singur and 
Manjira from 1st of December 1 since water levels there have reportedly 
reached dead storage. From the intake well located a Murmur of 
Karimnagar district, sources say the Godavari waters have reached 
Ghanpur located 30 km away from the city and then it will reach 
Shamirpet reservoir towards city!
