It is known news that the swearing in of
cabinet ministers and ministers of state recently after Narendra Modi
was sworn in as Prime Minister has reportedly upset politicians of the
soon to be created state of Telangana.
Sources say that even as Andhra based leaders Ashok Gajapathi Raju and
Venkaiah Naidu received cabinet ranks, no one from Telangana was
considered.
There are speculations that justice will be done to the
region in the second round of cabinet expansion.
This is expected to take place probably next month. But at the same time
there is worry in the region’s political circles that Modi who was
personally against AP bifurcation is in no mood to entertain TG’s
leaders.
This is because he feels that centre should allocate unnecessary
expenditure for new capital rather than spending for new capital. In a
way it is true and some economic experts believe the trouble for
Telangana will continue in this aspect.
