Loksatta founder president Jayaprakash
Narayan has vented out his anger against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister
N.Chandrababu Naidu and Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekar Rao. He
said both the CM's are ruling in such a way that more number of people
are turning out to be Naxalites.
He
also said that both the state ministers will never make any progress for
new investments or job creation, but they will definitely develop in
Naxalites. He once again said the government is 'incompetent'.
JayaPrakash
said, "In Andhra, officials have looted more than 1000 crores
belonging to cotton farmers in Kurnool, Prakasam, Guntur, West Godavari
and Srikakulam districts. While the Cotton Corporation of India had
purchased cotton worth only Rs 4,000 crore from farmers in these
district, they manipulated the numbers in records and claimed sales at
Rs 5,030 crore and have deceived over 1000 crores.
Despite
this, Telangana government is in deep crisis and failed to come to the
rescue of farmers and punish the corrupt. The prevailing circumstances
in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana will only lead to increase in Naxalism
as people out of frustration will be forced to choose Naxalites."
