Illegal Immigration has been a major
problem always. It is usually a common factor in Assam and West Bengal.
Because Hindus living in Bangladesh will flee their country as they are
being persecuted because of their religion. Recently Assam Chief
Minister Tarun Gogoi said 'Hindustan is for Hindus'.
This
is clearly a Hindutva statement and Tarun Gogoi also justified his
statement. But the context in which the Governor said this remarks was
something unacceptable. Now the thing is that these Hindus fleeing
persecution in Bangaladesh are entering in Andhra Pradesh.
Lots
of illegal immigrants are being found and the police are clueless as
they are unaware to trap them. BJP is taking necessary measures to
ensure the safety of the citizens living in Andhra Pradesh.
Regarding
the Hindutva statement, the Governor said what he actually meant. He
said, "If a Hindu is in trouble, where else can he go to except India?
Hindustan is his mother and he shall come back to his mother’s fold.
Hindustan is for Hindus."
