Telangana CM KCR and his government received
huge set back when Supreme Court of India today directed it to reinstate
ABN Andhra Jyothy channel's telecast across the state.The three member
bench of Supreme Court after hearing the arguments between the two
parties, issued directives to Union Government, Telangana government and
also all collectors of districts of Telangana asking them to reinstate
the live feed of ABN Channel.
Supreme Court even asked Telangana
Supreme
Court even asked Telangana Government to provide security to cable
operators who telecast ABN channel. Opposition leaders welcoming the
Supreme Court ruling said the ruling is a slap on Telangana Government
and dictatorial attitude of CM KCR.
It
is known that CM KCR and his government banned ABN channel following
telecast of some news articles and reports against the government. KCR
even threatened to bury media deep under the earth if they carry stories
against his Government.
