The humiliating defeat
which was suffered by BJP-led NDA in the Bihar Assembly polls is reportedly
making TDP to harbor 'second thoughts' on going ahead with the BJP in the
ensuing GHMC elections. TDP feels that Modi magic has now waned!
TDP leaders have started saying openly how Bihar results have proved beyond doubt that Narendra Modi's image is now dented and it would worsen in the coming weeks and hence it may not be safe to ally with the BJP in the crucial GHMC polls.
TDP leaders are feeling that BJP has started facing severe anti-incumbency wave mainly because of rising prices of all the essential commodities besides withdrawing LPG subsidy to people on the basis of income-levels.
The yellow party feels that if they contests on its own, it might help in overcoming the anti-incumbency of BJP and are also confident that lakhs of Seemandhra voter in GHMC limits will for only TDP as BJP is facing resentment in AP over failed promises!
