A Chinese mine has collapsed and after
five days of struggle the rescue operations found 8 survivors. A photo
was released by China's Xinhua News Agency and it showed a trapped miner
is rescued from a collapsed gypsum mine in Pingyi County.
Chinese
media said, that the exact reason behind the collapse is unknown. But
the miners were trapped inside for more than 100 hours. It was a gypsum
mine in eastern China. On Christmas day, at the eastern province of
Shandong the collapse has happened.
And
as of now, One worker is killed in the collapse and eight were rescued.
But still nine miners were missing. The official Xinhua News Agency said
today that rescuers had yet to reach the survivors but had contacted
them and were sending provisions to them underground.
All
officials are at the location, and they ensure that the rescue efforts
take place without any break. A witness said that the collapse was so
violent and even national earthquake bureau detected a quiver in
Shandong.
