More than 30% of Juvenile criminals were never been to school
Nirbhaya rape case has grabbed everyone's attention. The person who was involved in the case was let free. This has shocked the whole nation. Judges said that he was let free based on Juvenile Justice Act.

As there were lots of opposition, a new bill was passed and the age limit was reduced below 16 years.In a recent survey it was said that 30% of Juvenile offenders were never been to school.


A report says 50% of Children are involved in dacoit and robbery. Offences related to person (murder and attempt to murder) and sexual harassment (including rape) constituted 21.9% and 11.5%. Out of the 21 rape cases, 11 rape were either consensual or they were false accusations.

Another data said that 70% were unaware of the consequences. At the same time another report says that 59% of children have done all the crimes in groups. This shows how peer influence works. The report says the punishment will be of no use and age has nothing to do with it.
