Court accepts Jaitley's plea towards defamation case
Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley lodged a criminal defamation suit against Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party Chief Arvind Kejiriwal for false accusations. Now the Patiala House Court has admitted this defamation case. The court has scheduled a hearing on January 5th 2016 by 2pm.

Aam Aadmi Party was given some time to prepare its defence. Failing to do so, the party should pay a sum of Rs.10 Crores. Regarding this, Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sanjay Khanagwal said, "The present complaint has been filed in personal capacity. On perusing the material on record, I take cognizance of the offences.

Matter will now be put on for complainant evidence on 5th of January." Jaitley's advocate Siddharth Lutra said the accusations made by AAP leaders are false and baseless.

They intentionally made some derogatory statements against the Finance minister regarding financial irregularities in Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA). Finance Minister Jaitley has not drawn a single penny from DDCA. These are completely baseless.
