Telangana Chief Minister
K.Chandrasekhar Rao is angry at the NDA government for selecting
Hyderabad city under 'Smart city' project. The reason behind his rage is
correct. According to his opinion, Hyderabad is already more than a
'Smart City'. It was developed as a A1 City on par with Mumbai.
Now
giving the tag of 'Smart City' actually defames it. An annoyed KCR
immediately wrote a letter to union urban development minister Venkaiah
Naidu and showed his resentment over choosing Hyderabad as Smart City.
He has asked a sensible question.
He
asked, "GHMC itself makes a budget of Rs.5500 Crores. But under Smart
City category, the centre just provides Rs.100 Crores for development. A
city which already has a budget of Rs.5500 Crores never needs a little
amount of 100 Crores."
KCR also
requested Venkaiah Naidu to remove Hyderabad and replace it with Karim
Nagar. He also requested Naidu to make some schemes to develop metro
cities instead of clubbing them together with Smart City project.
