The National Herald case has grabbed
all the eyeballs right now. Both Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and her son
and party vice-president Rahul Gandhi will appear before the court
tomorrow. Now we hear from credible sources that the leaders will not
apply for a bail in this National Herald case.
However
this news was not confirmed by the party members. The Congress party is
right now playing cards close to its chest. Earlier, Delhi court
summoned those two leaders from Congress regarding alleged cheating and
misappropriation of funds in taking control of the defunct National
Herald newspaper.
It was said they have
looted thousands of crores with respect to this case. Some inside
sources from the party said that they will not apply for any bail. Had
they taken bail, they would have got exemption from future court
appearances in the case.
As of now, if
they are proved to be accused, they need to appear before court and bail
will not be granted then. The court can even take both of them into
judicial custody.
