The priority which is being accorded to Nizamabad Lok Sabha MP K
Kavitha by the TRS government is causing a lot of heartburn among party
MPs, who are feeling that their respective constituencies is not being
given equal importance regarding any development.
Among
the 17 Lok Sabha constituencies in Telangana, Nizamabad is becoming the
luckiest as the state government has been doling out more funds and
schemes to this constituency represented by chief minister K
Chandrasekhar Rao’s daughter.
One TRS MP said
that they expect equitable distribution of benefits for all
constituencies but Nizamabad is being overfed, where as some of the
constituencies like Zaheerabad are severely left starving. The
Telangana government recently announced Rs 100 crore for drainage system
in Nizamabad, 2,000 additional houses under free double bedroom houses
for poor and also regular special review meetings.
KCR
also announced measures for carrying out repairs to Nizamsagar
project’s canals and stabilize the ayacut of nearly three lakh acres and
has also recommended that the defence ministry shift its Army
Recruitment Centre (ARC) from Secunderabad to Nizamabad!
