The sexual harassment against women are
increasing each day. Every day woman are facing new threats. A woman
who is employed as a maid at Ranchi’s Harmu Housing Colony murdered a
man who entered her home and raped her. She herself surrendered to
Argora police.
The news has caused more
ripples in that area. The woman is 24 years old and in her statement
she has said that Manoj Kumar has entered her residence and has locked
the door from inside. He has harassed her and the depressed woman took a
hammer and she has hit him repeatedly on the face till he took the last
breath.
Later she has realized that
the person was dead. She locked the dead body inside the home and then
she went to her daily work. But later at midnight, she went to Police
and turned herself in.
Police recovered
the body and the murder weapon. Body was sent to postmortem and she was
sent for medical check-up. Police are right now interrogating her.
Regarding this DSP Prashant said, "We are inquiring the girl regarding
the acquaintance between them. We are waiting for the medical reports."
