Recently most of the Students who
visited USA for higher studies were sent back for unknown reasons. Most
students even said that they were mistreated at the US customs. They
said their documents were legit and still they were sent away. Now a US
university has came with a theory regarding this deportation.
They
have blamed Air India for the confusion on the issue. Peter Hsieh who
is the president of the Northwestern Polytechnic University (NPU) said,
"I want to share with everyone my strong belief that these difficulties
arose solely because of the actions of Air India.
We
don't know why Air India has undertaken these actions and they have
made some irreparable damage to our University and they have tarnished
our reputation. This has caused distress to the families of the
students. We can just say Air India's recent actions are related to
their financial position."
This
statement was posted officially on the University's website. There was
no comment from Air India regarding this. Air India is preventing
students from boarding the plane because of the fear of financial burden
in case students are deported from the US.
