High Winter continued in Kashmir for 
past few weeks. We already reported that most people suffered as the 
mercury dropped a lot. Now the Sunshine is back to Jammy City after a 
long time. Today the people enjoyed bright sunshine. There was no sign 
of rain or dark clouds.
An official from
 Meteorological department said, "The minimum temperature in Srinagar 
was minus 4.2 degrees Celsius today. Due to cloud cover, the maximum 
temperature is likely to hover around eight degrees in the city. -2.7 
degrees Celsius was recorded at Pahalgam and -5 degrees Celsius was 
recorded at Gulmarg.
Leh town recorded 
minus 13.3 degrees Celsius while Kargil town recorded minus 12.0 degrees
 Celsius in the Ladakh region. The minimum temperature in Jammu and 
Kashmir was 3.6 degrees Celsius.
This is
 likely to increase up to 18 degrees Celsius. Bright Sunshine is 
expected in coming days. This will push the temperature in J&K." The
 people are slowly turning towards normalcy as everyone expects Dry 
weather for next few days.
