Well the beleaguered congress party
seems to be now looking for a star campaigner for GHMC polls and sources
say Chiranjeevi's services would be taken for this purpose. Telangana
PCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy reportedly indicated this recently.
Chiranjeevi
may have been complete failure as a politician until now, but his star
power may help Congress party in atleast securing a couple of seats in
few constituencies where the Seemandhras constitute significant numbers.
Chiru
has not been associating himself with Congress activities in AP off
late and now it would be interesting to see how will he take up active
politics for bailing out the Congress in Telangana enjoying the party’s
help to be a Rajya Sabha MP!
The
Congress literally forgoed a golden opportunity as KCR walked away with
all the credit for the formation of Telangana and now an Andhra film
star helping the Congress party secure some seats in Hyderabad for its
Telangana unit is an irony!
