GHMC election campaign is only
revolving around the Seemandhra settlers issue. Right from the ruling
TRS to Opposition parties like Congress, TDP, BJP, everyone is now
endearing themselves to settlers for seeking votes.
It
is a known fact that Seemandhra settlers living in Hyderabad are
playing a decisive role in GHMC polls whose clout can be seen in more
than half of the 150 GHMC divisions in total. The ruling TRS, till
recently the biggest enemy of Seemandhra settlers in Hyderabad is also
in this latest race to become closer to them.
Now
BJP floor leader in Assembly and city MLA Laxman has reportedly placed
TRS in a fix with an open challenge that if TRS really is so much
concerned for the Seemandhra settlers in Hyderabad, then the pink party
should offer the Deputy Mayor post for a Seemandhra settler. As
expected, the TRS is maintaining a complete silence!
Opposition
parties have openly made this an election issue and they are
campaigning extensively among the Seemandhra settlers saying that the
latest TRS love for Seemandhra settlers lacks sincerity and commitment.
This assurance is definitely one hard nut to crack for the pink party!
