Political
atmosphere is heating in Hyderabad as GHMC elections are fast
approaching. Ruling TRS party led by KCR, Chandra Babu's TDP-BJP combine
are fighting bitter battle. Congress in the meantime is trying to
revive its fortunes.

Mulayam Singh's Samajwadi Party sprang surprise on everyone by coming
with a stunning offer for all ticket aspirants. It is known that many
are disappointed with their parties denying them tickets. Many decided
to contest as rebels and Mulayam came with tempting offer.

leaders said anyone can come and collect 'B' forms to contest GHMC
elections. Nagalakshmi Gadiraju, Telangana state president of Samajwadi
Party said “There are many people who are disappointed by their parties
for not getting tickets.They want to contest as rebels.Many are filing
nominations as independents. We will be glad to give anyone our party
ticket,“
It has to be seen whether there
will be any takers for SP's open offer. Mulayam Singh is expected to
campaign in Hyderabad between 25-27 Jan.
