The battle between Naxals is increasing
each day. Recently a group of armed Naxals opened fire while the
security forces were cordoning off a forest axis at Kunna, Chhattisgarh.
During this battle, a police constable was injured. The battle happened
in dense forests of Chhattisgarh's Sukma district.

police official said, "The battle with Naxals happened all of a sudden.
The shooting triggered on an unexpected note. After some exchange of
bullets, the naxals fled into the core forests.
No
lives were lost in this gun shooting. One of our police constable was
injured." Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Santosh Singh said,
"The fire took place under Tongpal police station limits when a joint
team of state District Reserve Group (DRG) and Special Task Force (STF)
was carrying out the operation.
A
constable of District Reserve Group sustained some bullet injuries
during this fight." Immediately reinforcement came to the spot and the
injured were taken to Jagdalpur district headquarters for treatment.
