People of Telangana fought
for the separate state to gain self respect rather than get crushed in
the clutches of Andhra people. Cashing on to this sentiment TRS chief
KCR rode to power and became the first CM of Telangana.Professor
Kodandaram played key role in the separate Telangana movement.
He became the rallying point for all forces and he supported KCR enabling him to achieve his objective.However KCR now sidelined him and Kodandaram is fighting for his identity.
Taking this issue, BJP leader Kishan Reddy launched frontal attack on KCR.He said Telangna self respect is not seen and KCR crushed it under his feet. He said people like Kodandaram who fought for separate statehood are not seen now and this shows the place of self respect for people of Telangana in KCR's rule.
It has to be seen how Telangana people react to Kishan Reddy's criticism on KCR. However supporters of Kodandaram say it is true that KCR is not recognising the true contributors for the formation of Telangana.
