'Water' is often the trouble maker. It
always create problems when it is too less or too high. Now in the
upcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections, all
parties are planning various issues. But none of them noticed the most
troublesome Water issue.
Telangana
Rashtra Samithi (TRS) alone has discussed regarding the water troubles.
Now they have started a mission named as 'Mission Bhageeratha'. In this
mission they are planning to commission the Krishna phase-III and the
Godavari phase-I projects.
They also
promised to provide tap connection to every household. But Hyderabad
Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) is yet to
begin its process. An inside source said, already officials completed
the survey regarding this Tap connection and the number of household
which needs them.
TRS has also
sanctioned a sum of Rs.1900 Crores to implement this Water Supply scheme
in 11 surrounding Municipal circles. But opposite parties as usual
blame and said that these are election gimmicks and TRS will never keep
their promises.
