Right after
the completion of polling for Warangal by elections yesterday all
parties expressed confidence on winning the contest. Even as opposition
parties expressed confidence about winning the elections, they also
accused the ruling TRS party of misusing the administration to lure
voters with a whopping 100crs on the polling day.
Heavy
betting is on who will win the Warangal elections. While ruling TRS is
saying they are confident of victory from the beginning and only worked
to increase the majority, Congress is expecting to put up good show
banking on voters anger on TRS party.
BJP
meanwhile is banking on PM Modi's developmental schemes and even
promising to make Warangal a smart city. BJP hopes that its alliance
with TDP will do wonders in the Warangal elections. Poll analysts
however say all the parties will receive huge shock from Warangal voters
when the results are out.
Surveys
and exit polls say TRS will scrape through winning with reduced margin
of 1-1.5 lakhs votes. This is very less compared to last elections in
which Kadiyam Srihari won by 3.95 lakhs majority. A top minister says a
victory is victory even if won by one vote and added voters showed
disinterest as it will not affect the ruling Government in any manner.
BJP
may gain with PM Modi's developmental works to Telangana while Congress
which received shock with former MP Rajaiah's family members shocking
death may make some inroads.
