They are friends in past. Became CMs of two states. Now became friends
putting down a veil for their enmity of fifteen years. They remain as friends
like two chief ministers. But enemies as leaders of two parties. Nara Chandra
babu Naidu and Kalvakuntla Chandra sekhar rao’s friendship got strong in 2015.
People still can’t forget the coheir war between the two. But this two people have forgotten it. One can still remember how these two fired openly about state bifurcation issue. It is true that there are no permanent enemies in politics. Now it is proved on the screen. Reason behind this is the problem of water resources. Well know fact is Chandra babu Naidu has put his steps forward first for this friendship.
Recently the two CMs met. Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana; Narasimhan has hosted a high-tea in his residence. This is the fifth meet of both CMs in past four months. Nara Lokesh has invited K.Chandra sekhar rao in his residency along with his followers to invite for stone laying ceremony of Andhra Pradesh new capital ‘Amaravathi’ on the day of Dasara. Later KCR attending the function conveying wishes. Later he invited Chandra babu Naidu for Ayutha Chandi Yagam where they met in Vijayawada; residency of Chandra babu Naidu which boosted their friendship. AP CM attended the Yagam also. But this meeting with governor has become the centre of attraction.
Both the friends’ chit chatted and exchanged the wishes. They had good time indeed. In the party; they stood as centre of attraction. After the bifurcation of state; they started moving apart as new chief ministers of two states. KCR leaders fired Chandra babu that he is interrupting the development in Telangana; tried to manipulate votes by ‘vote for note’ case. It is clearly seen that a co-heir war has taken place between this two CMs. Even Chandrababu fired on KCR and TRS in his own style. They both have not attended in previous high-tea hosted by Governor.

In this background; phone tapping issue came into lime light. Due to the master
plan; new capital; Chandra babu has shifted his residence from Hyderabad to
Vijayawada. Recently they met again. But people have thousand dollar question
about the duration of their friendship. On one hand; Chandrbabu changed his
party from regional to national level. KCR has been decelerating the rigidity
of TDP in Telangana. ‘Vote for note’ is a death blow for weak TDP in Telangana.
Reason behind this whole incident is KCR as per the words of TDP leaders in
Telangana. Fire brand of T-TDP; Revanth Reddy has been sent to jail. That way
KCR is successful in suppressing TDP in Telangana.
TDP leaders have come to a conclusion that it is difficult to survive in the party due to the disturbances of KCR. Now; the friendship between the two is irritating T-TDP leaders like anything. Another side; even TRS leaders are not happy with this friendship but everyone in all parties are aware of their leaders tactics and nature. In past; TRS leaders alleged that Chandra babu is obstructing ‘Palamuru’ project.
Recently; the solution for Krishna water dispute is left to the two chief ministers by the Central government. More over they have to face the problems of Krishna water by Karnataka and Maharashtra. If the issues are not solved then there is a threat that the two states will turn to desert.
In this backdrop; the two CMs should be together to face the problems from other states. In long run; this friendship will lead to some great decisions as said by political critics. But the political friendship is impossible for both of them. This is only for regional development and both of them have their own master plan in their minds regarding politics. If the development is the main motto for their friendship; then undoubtedly this is a good period for both the states.
