What is happening in Telangana ? Is it
financially stable or still suffering ? K.Chandrasekar Rao said the
state is having surpass money and it is next to Gujarat in development.
At the same time, the finance minister is saying that the government has
 losses.
Right now Telangana seems to
have found itself in a helpless position. The state can't pay just
Rs.200 Crores to clear the dues. The past six months have been poor and
the state's health department is trapped in a huge financial crisis.
This led to Telangana Private Hospitals and Nursing Homes' Association
(THANA).
Now this is a new threat to
Government . They are protesting and this is going to affect lots of
poor beneficiaries as it belongs to 80% of the BPL. THANA sent a notice
to the officials at the Aarogyasri Health Care Trust (AHCT) and are
awaiting the government's response.
Right
now there are 105 Private Aarogyashri hospitals in Hyderabad and
Rangareddt, 26 in Warangal, 17 in Karim Nagar, 9 in Khamam, 8 in
Nizamabad, 5 in Mahbubnagar and 4 in Medak. It should be noted that TRS
Government provided medical benefits to more than 200,000 patients and
this is worth more than 750 Crores.
