Seems things are not well between
Hyderabad and American Universities. Earlier lots of students were
deported at Airport itself stating that they are not eligible to join
the university.
Now a student from
Hyderabad, who goes by the name Shiva Karan has committed suicide at
North Carolina University. He was pursuing Masters degree at University n
Raleigh (North Carolina). He was found hanging inside the hostel room.
He was also an alumni of IIT, Hyderabad.
He
joined the University six months back to pursue M.Sc Computer Science.
The exact reason behind his death is unknown. His maternal uncle said,
"He got low grades in the last exam. This has shocked him and he has
taken such a drastic step."

Association of North America (TANA) informed the family members about
Shiva's death. V.Choudary Jampala who is the president of TANA said, "We
are trying to figure out what has happened exactly in Siva Karan's
case. We will provide all necessary logistical support."
