Charminar
is the most popular and renowned tourist spot and the most preferred
destination in Hyderabad for people across the world. The moment one
refers to Hyderabad they remember Charminar.
It is the pride and Shaan of Hyderabad and Hyderabadis and they proudly claim that they have Charminar as precious possession. It seems now the historical structure is in danger and this is shocking everyone.
Even
officials are shocked as Government of Telangana is celebrating the
World Heritage Week. Sources say the violations happening near to
Charminar is endangering and threatening the very existence of the
historic monument and much to the shock of all the GHMC officials are
turning a blind eye to it.
Inside
talk is despite the stay order by the high court on the illegal
construction people proceeded ahead with the construction ans it is
coming out that Mohammed Haroon Khan, the property owner, and Mo hammed
Ghouse, a former corporator of the Majlis-e-It ehadul Muslimeen, who has
allegedly taken up contract for construction, have ignored he order.
High
Court even directed the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI)
superintending engineer, Khan and Ghouse to show cause as to why the PIL
should not be admitted. Many say this is only one violation which came
to the High Court notice but many illegal constructions are going on
with the connivance of the Government.
