A charter aircraft has crashed near
Delhi Airport and all 10 people on board were killed in this accident.
It was said that the BSF Charter plane was carrying BSF technicians to
repair a chopper in Naxal hit Jharkand. The chopper was crashed after it
hit a wall at Bagdola village in Dwarka.
This
is 5kms away from the Delhi Airport. Rajesh Sivarain and B.P.Bhatt were
the pilots in the aircraft. Apart from them, Six technicians, One
engineer and One crew member also passed away.
The
deceased were identified as Deputy Commandant D.Kumar, Inspector
S.N.Sharma, sub-inspectors Ravindra Kumar, Chhote Lal, Sunder Singh, ASI
D.P.Chouhan, and K.Rawat. Sources in aviation ministry said the crash
has happened by 9.50am today morning.
There
has been a technical problem. An witness who was watching this said,
"We watched a plane spiraling down and it crashed near the wall. We were
working there. I could spot one body. A labourer who was working was
also injured."
