India today signed an agreement with
Japan for introducing of a bullet train between Amhedabad and Mumbai.
The project is signed and it is worth Rs.98,000 Crores. Today lots of
ties between India and Japan has been made. The key areas are defense
and Nuclear energy.
Narendra Modi
discussed a lot with his Japanese counterpart Shinzo Abe. The meeting
also focused on important issues of UN Security reforms. After signing
the deal, Narendra Modi said, "This is an historic decision. We are
introducing High Speed Rail on Mumbai - Ahmedabad sector through
Shinkansen known.
The train path will
be built with high speed and we also consider reliability and safety
measures. The memorandum we signed on civil nuclear energy cooperation
is more than just an agreement for commerce and clean energy.
This
is just done with respect to future. We have signed a mutual
partnership in order to have a peaceful and secured world." The Railway
path between Mumbai and Ahmedabad will be built by Indian Railways as
well as Japan International Cooperation Agency.
