Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundara Raje
has asked officials to update Engineering Syllabus courses and also
upgrade the infrastructure of the colleges to provide quality education.
During
a review meeting in Jaipur Vasunthara Raje said that the syllabus has
to be prepared with respect to current trend. They should be prepared in
advance and the faculties should be up to date as per in accordance
with today's demand. She said, "The Chief Minister also instructed
officials to complete projects, like setting up of incubation centers in
educational sector and to promote technical innovations."
During
the meeting, Higher Education Minister Kalicharan Saraf, School
Education Minister Vasudev Devnani and other eminent celebrities were
present at the meeting. Vasundara who later met the press said,
"The
Engineering Syllabus is pretty old and students don't have the correct
knowledge. This has to be changed. The education sector also never takes
any steps to rectify. They just forget about the infrastructure
facilities too. Wish they make a change in future."
